Based on the fraud trial of Anthony Marshall, son of Brooke Russell Astor, respected philanthropist and heir to the Astor fortune. Marshall was found guilty of forging documents to amass wealth from his mother's estate when she was suffering from the final stages of Alzheimer's in 2005 at the age of 105.
